Alexandre Pantoja, SUB, R4
Kind of a fitting main event for this card. Not a bad fight but just kinda whelming. I truly hope that it ends up over delivering and I think it does have that potential. With that being said I think this is Pantoja’s fight to lose. He’s the best in the world and has cleared flyweight out basically all the way. His striking is powerful and pretty accurate despite it looking non traditional. But his grappling is where he pays the bills, he is one of the best mma grapplers on the planet without a doubt. Erceg has very sharp striking and solid movement with a great ground game but there’s levels. I think Pantoja can hurt him and transition to grappling well. Of course the champs main concern is cardio. With that being said he manages to maintain his pace despite looking tired in the later rounds but even then he wins those rounds most of the time. I just see this being too soon for Erceg, he is a very good fighter tho. I expect him to be here again
Martinez vs. Aldo
José Aldo, DEC
Love Jose. Amazing for the sport and is still kicking. His last loss in mma was to Merab so I think he’s not washed, just not what he was. Martinez is a killer, his main weapons are straight punches, knees to the liver and his trademark calf kicks. He also has outstanding takedown defense but I doubt Jose will attempt any grappling. I know he’s the older and more tenured guy by a large margin, but I actually really like Aldo here. He can very much so defend the best attacks for Martinez. He’s always had amazing leg kick and overall lower half defense. The things he’s struggled with in his career are not what Martinez is good at. That being super high volume and ability to weather the storm from Aldo. In fact when he’s lost he’s gotten slumped. So for those reasons I actually think Aldo takes this. I see him defending Martinez’s strikes and returning with deadly counters. Maybe he’ll put him away but I’ll be safe and say decision
Smith vs. Petrino
Vitor Petrino, TKO, R3
Very obvious set up for Petrino here. Smith should be on a four fight losing streak imo but he got the knod none the less. Either way knowing that’s Ryan Spann I think that has aged horribly. Not to mention he looks worse every fight. He plots forward but he just doesn’t do much nowadays. His thing used to be just absolutely tanking damage and being more mentally tough and being a dawg in the cage. There’s none of that now from him. He looks soft in his physique and has appeared to regress on all fronts. Chin, striking, grappling you name it. I don’t see it getting better either. Petrino isn’t amazing but he improves and shows lots of life in there which Smith doesn’t seem to have. Not to mention his crazy power which could put old man Smith on the desk permanently. I’d give a slight chance at an upset but I don’t have much faith
Pereira vs. Potieria
Michel Pereira, TKO, R1
Simple one here. Ihor is ass and I think going to 185 only amplifies his issues. No cardio and especially no striking defense as a result. He’s like Jiri if Jiri was terrible kinda. Michel on the other hand has looked amazing at 185. Huge and extremely powerful still. I see this one being embarrassing for Ihor
Craig vs. Borralho
Caio Borralho, TKO, R3
Craig is entertaining but he is an automatic pick against for me. His style just isn’t gonna fair well against most good competition and Caio is no different. He may be boring but he’s good everywhere. He also is a smart fighter for the most part too so he won’t put himself in a dangerous position with Craig. Maybe finish is being too generous to Caio but I like this matchup for him

Does anyone know something about that ? I think this might be about a possible heavyweight fight in the next few cards.
Edit: If it's just a dumb sket. That's so ******* stupid.

Alexandre Pantoja, SUB, R4
It would be ******* hilarious if Erceg won but in all honesty Pantoja's probably just gonna drown him and be able to take everything that Erceg can give.
Martinez vs. Aldo
José Aldo, DEC
I could see Martinez winning but man it's hard to count out Aldo against somebody around this level. The leg kick defense is going to make a difference.

José Aldo, DEC
I really think Aldo still has it in him, and Martinez hasnt fought anyone with the striking of Aldo. The leg kicks are nasty but I trust Aldo to be able to handle them well.
Smith vs. Petrino
Vitor Petrino, TKO, R2
if Smith shows up he wins
